Thinking about how you can help?

Join Us
We are currently looking for members to join our committee, particularly people with expertise in benefits, education, finance, volunteer coordination and safeguarding.
Want to get involved in a less substantial role? We'd be thrilled to hear from anyone who wants to support the resettlement of a refugee family. Get in touch and let us know how you'd like to help. Contact us.

Help us find a home
We need to secure a house for a family to live in for two years, ideally at the Local Housing Allowance Rate. The landlord will have rent for two years, guaranteed by Brighton and Hove Community Support, as well as a network of people who are supporting the family and maintaining the property. If you would like to help us find a home or offer your property, please contact us. More information on our Housing page.

Spread the word
Support us on social media by liking our Facebook page and sharing our posts with your family and friends so we can reach more people! We can also provide you with information and resources to raise awareness of our work in your organisation, group or within your community. Contact us.

Donate
To have our application approved by the Home Office we need to raise £12,000 to cover the cost of securing and furnishing a home, providing the family with food and items they need until their benefits are set up, and pay an interpreter to support them as they settle in to their new community. It's a huge target and everything you can do to help us get there is hugely appreciated! Donate.

Fundraise for us
Could you run an event to help us to meet our fundraising target, or do you know of a grant we could apply for? We need to raise £12,000 to cover the costs associated with securing a home and resettling a family in Brighton and Hove. All ideas and fundraising efforts will be marvellous, no matter how big or small. Get in touch with us to share your ideas and ask for the information and resources you need.
